Draw along with cartoonist Bruce Blitz as he teaches you the basic steps to draw the cutest character around.

1. With a pencil, loosely draw a circle shape and switch to marker to draw the features. Start with the nose, drawing it small and low inside the circle.
2. To draw the eyes, draw 2 C’s on each side of the face. Then draw 2 small circles inside, leaving a little bit of white space. Then draw 2 lines above the eyes for eyebrows, going up so he looks happy.
3. To create a smile, draw a curved line and 2 small U’s on each side to show the cheeks.
4. Draw two big ears on each side, with small sideways V’s to show the insides.
5. To draw the head, draw around the guidelines, from the top of one ear to the other, and around the bottom of the head.
6. Switch to eraser, and erase the pencil lines.
7. To create the baby’s bonnet, draw a squiggly line from the top of one ear to the other, around the top of the head. After, draw a long squiggly line for the hair.
8. Use crayons or lay chalk on its side to color in your baby. Use orange for the face. Leave a little white space for highlight and shine, and use darker values to show depth.
