Diva Necklace

Grab your glitter and get ready to glam it up with host Lisa Bleyaert and her friends! You'll be the star of the show in this diva-licious pendant and beaded necklace.

1 sheet red foam
glue
5 ft elastic cord
2 paperclips
beads
glitter glue
permanent marker
paper
1 sheet black stick-it felt
scissors
ruler

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

1. Make a stencil for the lips: Draw a heart on a piece of paper.
2. Draw a triangle on each side of the heart and round off the bottom to create the shape of the lips.
3. Cut out the lip stencil and trace it onto the red foam and the black Stick-It felt. Cut out both traced lips.
4. Draw a line on the red foam cut out to make them look more glam!
5. Cover with glitter glue and let dry.
6. Take the backing off of the black felt lips and place two paper clips on the sticky side, making sure the ends of both paperclips hang off the edge.
7. Once the red foam lips are dry, stick them to the black felt and trim around the edges. Now you have the centerpiece for your necklace!
8. Cut 5 feet of elastic cord. Thread the cord through one of the paperclips until the paperclip is in the middle of the thread.
9. String beads onto both strands of elastic until desired length.
10. Once you have all of your beads strung, tie both ends of the elastic to the free paperclip. Ultra glam indeed!
