Get ready to impress your audience with a trick that will have them on their feet clapping for more…A-TV is proud to present...Banded! You'll need some old party streamers, scissors and some tape to get started!

paper party streamers or colored construction paper
scotch tape
pair or scissors

SOMETIMES WE USE MATERIALS THAT REQUIRE ADULT SUPERVISION…LIKE SCISSORS SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FRIENDS AND FAMILY AROUND WHENEVER YOU DO MAGIC TRICKS!

  1. Preparation: If using construction paper, cut the paper into 11”x2” strips. You’ll need three strips.
  2. Performance: Show three bands. (If using streamers make them long so that it’ll be hard for people to see that there are twists in them.)
  3. Cut into the fist band, by inserting your scissors in the middle and cutting all the way around. When you meet the cut at the other end, you will have created two separate rings.
  4. Cut into the second ring, the same way. However, when you’ve cut all the way through on this one it will instead make ONE big ring!
  5. Cut into the third ring, the same way. This one will become TWO LINKED rings!
