Oh my stars…want to make the coolest frame in town? Well let Scott Sicari teach you how to make one that can “hang”…just about anywhere! All you'll need are some paper, scissors, and a marker to get started!

scissors
stapler
heavy paper
glue
glitter glue
star template
ribbon
small photos
cord

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE A SEWING NEEDLE, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. For each frame, cut two identical paper stars. You can make your stars identical by using a template made out of sturdy paper. Just trace around the edges of the template on your piece of paper. When you’re done tracing, cut out your shapes. Next, cut a circle out of the center of one star from each pair. This will be the front of the frame where the photo will show. Decorate the front of the frames with glue and glitter, and set them aside to dry.
  2. Cut a piece of ribbon long enough to accommodate the number of frames you've made. Fold over one end about 1 inch and staple to make a hanging loop. Then staple the back of each frame to the ribbon, spacing the frames out evenly - about an inch apart.
  3. Cut your photos to a size slightly smaller than the stars, then sandwich a photo between the front and back of each frame and glue in place.
  4. Thread a piece of cord through the loop at the top of the ribbon. Now your frame is ready to “hang” or you can wrap it up as a gift and present it to someone special!
