Gifts are always better when they’re crafted with love! Glue, tissue paper, and a glass are all you'll need to start this cool candle holder project.

plain glass candle holder or cup
tissue paper in assorted colors
glue stick
small candle
scissors

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE A SEWING NEEDLE, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Decide what kind of shapes you’d like on your holder, and carefully cut them using the different colored tissue paper. Circles are a good shape to use.
  2. The next step is to attach them to your glass candleholder! Just apply some glue to the back of the tissue paper shapes and then press them onto the outside of the holder. It’s fun to experiment with layering a larger circle over a smaller one.
  3. Let your candle holder dry for about a half hour. Then add a small candle and you’re ready to light up the life of someone you love!
