Learn how to make a personalized picture frame from scratch. Popsicle sticks and glue will get you started on this gift!

8 popsicle sticks
magic markers
tacky craft glue
photograph of yourself or recipient
scissors
pencil
glitter glue
pipe cleaner

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE A SEWING NEEDLE, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

Take 8 popsicle sticks and color them with your magic markers. Choose whatever colors you like.
Glue them together in pairs, side by side like this, then let them dry.
To form the frame, shape the frame with the glued sets of sticks, then glue together. Two sets will be glued on top of the other two sets of popsicle sticks. Let the frame dry for an hour.
To attach the photo, glue the picture to the back side of the frame. Glue a pipe cleaner on to the back of the frame so that it arches above your photo. The pipe cleaner will hold the frame on the wall.
Decorate the front side of the frame with glitter glue…and now you have an awesome frame that makes a spectacular gift!
