For the parent that loves to cook, show them how much you care by making them a fun kitchen apron! So grab some fabric paint and an apron and let's get started.

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Sketch out your design on to a piece of paper first. This way, there’s less chance for mistakes.
  2. Lay the apron out on a flat surface, and place cardboard underneath the apron to keep paint from seeping through onto work surface.
  3. Use fabric markers and paint to apply my design. You can use a pencil to sketch out your design onto the apron before you apply any paint, or you can just free hand your design.
  4. Let the apron dry over night before you give it to your favorite cook!
