Michael LaFosse is at it again and this time he's bringing a little fortune into your future! Work along with the master as he shows you step by step instructions on how to fold a fortune cookie box. This project makes a perfect party favor!

a square piece of paper in a diamond shape

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Start with a square piece of paper in a diamond shape.
  2. Fold bottom corner up to top corner and crease- so it looks like a triangle.
  3. Fold right corner over to left corner, same with the left corner- crease and reopen so that valley crease is facing up.
  4. Fold right corner up to top corner, same with left corner, crease and reopen so that you have 3 valley creases.
  5. Flip paper over.
  6. Fold 1st layer of top corner to bottom of paper.
  7. Pull the triangle layer you just created and fold it up and inside the 2 sides of paper, in the pocket. Have the colored corner reach the middle crease.
  8. Hold it in a Party Hat shape and refold the mountain creases.
