1 large pinecone
1 package of birdseed
spoon
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup butter
knife
bowl
plate
twine
scissors

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Find a large pinecone.
  2. Tie a 4-foot piece of twine around the top of the pine cone for the hanger.
  3. Mix 1 cup peanut butter with 1 cup of butter.
  4. Spread the peanut butter and butter mixture onto the pine cone.
  5. Pour some birdseed onto a plate or shallow dish and roll the pine cone in it.
  6. Place the seed-covered pine cones in the freezer for about an hour or until it is firm.
  7. Hang it outside in a tree!
