1 wooden dowel
scissors
pillowcase
3 safety pins

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Cut a small hole in the bottom of the hem of an old pillow case.
  2. Slip a dowel inside the hem.
  3. Safety pin the loose backside of the pillowcase to the front side that has the dowel in it.
  4. Decorate your flag with fabric paint and fabric pens! Let it dry and then get ready to let it fly!
