1 oatmeal container
2 paper tower rolls
plate
black paint
white paint
paintbrush
exacto knife
scissors
twine
tape
ruler
screen

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Remove oats and label from oatmeal container.
  2. Cut tops of paper towel tubes to look turrets.
  3. Cut windows and the door/drawbridge out of oatmeal container. When cutting door make sure not to cut the bottom!
  4. Cut large panel out of the back.
  5. Glue paper towel tubes to oatmeal container.
  6. Set aside to dry.
  7. Paint entire castle gray.
  8. Draw on bricks.
  9. Tape twine onto drawbridge.
  10. Cut screen - 16”x 8.5”.
  11. Nestle screen inside.
  12. Put on lid.
  13. Find grass, twigs and bugs!
