Hummingbirds are delightful visitors to any backyard and now you can learn how to attract them! Join host Lisa Bleyaert as she shows you how to make your very own hummingbird feeder!

white paint
green paint
yellow paint
1 plastic water bottle
scissors
exacto knife
red cord
paintbrushes
1 plastic container with lid

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Remove label and cap from your water bottle.
  2. Cut an X in the middle of the plastic container lid and 4 small holes around the edge.
  3. Stick bottle neck into the middle X.
  4. Paint white glow in the dark flowers around the small holes and edge of the container.
  5. Make 2 small holes in the top of the bottle.
  6. Thread the red cord through the two holes.
  7. Tie a knot at the top.
  8. Fill with sugar water and hang outside!
