This round paper airplane may not look like a flyer, but wait until you see it soar! All you'll need are some scissors and a piece of paper to make your own Vortex.

one 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Fold paper in half twice. Unfold and cut along one of the folds.
  2. Turn to side, and fold in half, longwise.
  3. Fold the smaller section in half again. Open, and fold that section in half one more time.
  4. Fold each over 2 times. Make paper into an 'O' shape and put one crease into the other to hold in place.
