REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Take a flattened cardboard box and draw 2 squares on either side of the fold, 1.5’ x 1.5’ or large enough to fit your face.
  2. Recreate the cardboard box and duct tape the edges.
  3. Cover your box with foil using clear tape and wrap it like you would a present. When your corners are taped, cut corners to cover the edge of your holes. Cover the inside of the box as well.
  4. Cut 2 styrofoam balls in half and make a small hole in each large enough for the small lights.
  5. Make 2 small holes above square cut-out with your scissors.
  6. Insert small lights into holes. Glue styrofoam eyeballs on top and stick them onto lights.
  7. Cut black pupils out of black sticky foam and stick on Styrofoam eyeballs. The easiest way to do this is to cut 2 squares and make them into circles.
  8. Cut a small rectangle from black sticky foam to be the same size as the space underneath the hole under your eyes. Cut a white grin out of white sticky foam and stick on to of the black piece. Stick mouth onto box and add pupils.
  9. Bend pipe cleaners into the shape of a jagged antenna and insert into the top of your box. Use scissors to drill the hole and add tape to secure it.
  10. Cut silver or metallic foam board in half.
  11. Cut a large circle from black sticky foam by cutting a square first. Create a yellow lightning bolt from yellow sticky foam. Stick it to the circle and then glue the foam to one of your boards.
  12. Connect your 2 boards together by creating straps of black tape. Attach the front and back panels of the robot with black tape. Make sure the gap is big enough to get your head through, and your body is complete!
  13. Cut air duct vents to length of arms and legs and attach to your shirt and pants with silver tape.
