REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Measure and draw a rectangle (14”x 21”) in the center of the black foam board. There should be a 3 inch border on all sides. Cut this rectangle out.
  2. Attach a foil border with glue. Draw a 1” silver border around the center rectangle. Fold it over the back. Add a few dabs of glue under the overlapping corners.
  3. Flip the box over and wrap the tinfoil around the back like a present. Glue the foil down.
  4. Using little foam letters, spell out volume, power and channel. And stick them on your foam board, across the bottom of the “screen.”
  5. Cut 2 smaller rectangles out of a strip of black sticky foam. Create 2 diamond shapes and cut them in half to create 2 sets of arrows. Stick them on under your channel. Create a circle for the power button and stick it on under “Power.”
  6. Cut a remote control out of grey foam board using a ruler and exacto knife. Use a marker to draw on the number, power, volume, channel and “ON DEMAND” buttons.
  7. Outline your remote with gold glitter paint. Let dry.
  8. Twist 2 pipe cleaners together for each antenna and insert them into 2 styrofoam balls. Cover the balls with glue and sprinkle them with silver glitter. Set aside to dry for 20 minutes. Attach them to headband by wrapping pipe cleaners around.
  9. Stick a piece of Velcro on the back of remote. Attach a piece to the right side of your frame and stick your remote on.
  10. Cut 2 white straps of white felt and attach them to your frame using silver tape. Attach one side of each strip to the back of the top and bottom of the frame with silver tape. These will be your arm straps and the way you’ll wear the TV.
  11. Print out a picture you want to be on your television and glue it to your tv. Give it 20 minutes to dry.
