Get ready to gore it up this Halloween with some gruesome make-up! In no time you'll have some bloody scars that are sure to give everyone a fright!

tissue paper
corn syrup
spirit gum
rubber scar
make up (to match skin tone)
make up sponges
fake blood
cotton swab

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Break off a piece of tissue paper and break it in half.
  2. Cover one piece in corn syrup.
  3. Put it along your face like a scar.
  4. Do the same for a second piece and put it next to the other, making a valley in the middle. Let dry for 5 minutes.
  5. To apply a store bought scar, put spirit gum on your face and let it sit for a minute and a half. Put fake scar over spirit gum. Apply makeup around edges to match skin tone. Apply makeup to homemade scar.
  6. Using a Q-tip, apply the fake blood to the crevice in the scar.
