This toon is tops! Learn how to draw a Pilgrim from the letter P.

paper
pencil
marker
colored chalks or colored pencils
eraser

SOMETIMES WE USE MATERIALS THAT REQUIRE ADULT SUPERVISION...LIKE SCISSORS...SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FRIENDS AND FAMILY AROUND WHENEVER YOU DO CARTOONING!

  1. Write the letter P.
  2. Draw a round nose inside the white part of the P.
  3. Draw 2 dots for eyes and lines around the eyes for the white part. Add eyebrows going up, and a large smile.
  4. Make some fluffy lines on either side for his hair.
  5. Draw a pilgrim hat on top and add a buckle for detail. Color in his hat black, leaving some vertical white space to show shine.
  6. Incorporate the bottom of the vertical line of the P into his outfit by making it part of his collar. Draw the collar on both sides and add lines for his shoulders and arms.
