REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.
- Paint the palm of your hand with gold paint and press hand print down on a sheet of construction paper.
- Glue on a googly eye to the turkey's head (your thumbprint).
- Use a red feather as a wing, or you can paint a wing on.
- Cut about 2 inches off a yellow pipe cleaner. Bend it over twice and separate it to create a beak. Glue it on.
- Add a giblet by cutting red pipe cleaner about an inch long. Bend it and curl the ends up.
- For the legs, cut two pieces of orange pipe cleaner in equal length. Make an L shape and curve the bottom of it around for a foot. Glue the legs to your turkey.
- Create some grass using green pipe cleaner. Bend it back and forth into a zigzag pattern and glue it down near his feet.
- To create a thought bubble, cut a white piece of paper into a circle. When you get almost the way around, stop and make a little triangle. Glue it down. Take a black marker and write “Happy Turkey Day” or something else festive.
