SOMETIMES WE USE MATERIALS THAT REQUIRE ADULT SUPERVISION...LIKE SCISSORS...SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FRIENDS AND FAMILY AROUND WHENEVER YOU DO CARTOONING!

  1. Write the letter S.
  2. Draw a circle for his eye inside the top part. Add a dark pupil.
  3. Add his other eye to the left of that. Draw curly bushy eyebrows.
  4. Draw a long, roundish nose by drawing a curvy line coming out of the bottom of the S.
  5. Create his mustache by drawing 2 teardrop shapes under his nose.
  6. Add a few small curved lines for his mouth and upper lip. Open up his mouth a bit.
  7. Draw in his bushy beard, coming out of the sides of his face like a large puffy cloud.
  8. Add in his hat, starting with the furry brim. Draw in the rest of the hat, tapering the end and adding the puff.
  9. Color his face in peach. Add a little red for his cheeks and nose. Blend it in with your finger. Color his hat red. Use light grey to shade in his beard. Go back in and add a little red for his tongue.
