Celebrate Chanukah by creating a cool menorah cartoon!

SOMETIMES WE USE MATERIALS THAT REQUIRE ADULT SUPERVISION...LIKE SCISSORS...SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FRIENDS AND FAMILY AROUND WHENEVER YOU DO CARTOONING!

Start by drawing the outline of your menorah. Be sure to create a holder for the main candle.
Draw a ground line to show it’s on a table.
Lay different short colored pieces of chalk on their sides to draw multicolored candles. Create 4 on each side of the menorah.
Add the Shamash candle in the middle.
Use your black marker to draw a big teardrop shape on the top of each candle for flames. Make them large enough to draw faces on each one later.
Switch to pencil to add guidelines for your faces. Draw lines going down the middle and across the center, slightly curving them to show the different directions that your faces will be facing.
Go back in with your marker and put different facial features in to create different characters. Experiment by drawing different noses, eyes and smiles. Give the Shamash candle face a beard.
Color the menorah and flames in yellow, with red lines around them to show a glow. Color your table in brown.
