scraps of fun fur
three buttons
scissors
needle
thread
stuffing (cotton balls or polyfill)
black or brown felt/fabric
glue

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE A SEWING NEEDLE, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Cut an oval approximately 7 “ long. Then, cut a matching piece of brown felt or fabric for the belly.
  2. For those gluing: glue most of the way around the body, but make sure you leave a small opening for the stuffing. Allow to dry completely before stuffing with cotton balls or poly fill).
  3. If you are sewing: Thread your needle. Sew almost all the way around the body using a running stitch. Make sure you leave a large enough opening to put in your stuffing. Once stuffed close up your buddy.
  4. To assemble your Furry Friend: Decide which is the front and the back of your buddy. On the front side glue your eyes and nose.
  5. To make the ears, cut two strips of fur fabric about 3” long and 2” wide. Glue on the ears. Let dry completely.
