'Tis the season to give and receive cool holiday cards! This Santa Christmas card is perfect for family and friends.

red construction paper
green and yellow cellophane
scissors
white paper
tape

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Fold red construction paper over in half into a card shape. Unfold it, take the left half and fold it into the center.
  2. Take your scissors and cut out the shape of a Christmas tree by cutting 3 triangles. You can draw it on first if it’s easier for you.
  3. Cut out a star on top of your tree.
  4. Take a green piece of cellophane and cut a small square out the same size as your tree.
  5. Open up your card and tape the green cellophane down over the tree part. When you look at the front of the card, you will see a green tree!
  6. Use yellow cellophane for the star.
  7. Take a white piece of paper that is slightly smaller than your card and tape it down over the cellophane. This will make the colors pop out. Refold your card. Write a message on the inside and send it to a friend!
