Get ready to make a frosty decoration that won't melt when the weather gets warm! Join in on the fun as Lisa shows you how to make a homemade snowman ornament!

3 styrofoam balls of 3 different sizes
white glitter
glue
2 small twigs
peppercorns
plastic plate
orange and silver pipe cleaner
wooden skewer
blue felt
scissors

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Put your 3 balls onto a wooden skewer in a snowman formation. Move the skewer around to create a small hole in each.
  2. Take skewer out and thread silver pipe cleaner into the 3 balls, back in snowman formation.
  3. Secure pipe cleaner at the bottom with a twist and create a loop at the top of the snowman’s head with the remaining length.
  4. Cover your snowman with glue.
  5. Sprinkle white glitter all over your snowman, using chunky white glitter and then finer white glitter. Let him dry.
  6. Stick a twig in each side of the middle ball for arms.
  7. Create a nose using an orange pip cleaner. Cut it to about a half inch and fold over the end. Stick it right into his face.
  8. Glue peppercorns on for eyes and a mouth. You can also use black paint or black marker.
  9. Cut a tiny scarf out of blue felt, create fringe on both ends, and glue around snowman’s neck. Set him aside to dry for about 20 minutes and he’s ready to hang on your tree.
