SOMETIMES WE USE MATERIALS THAT REQUIRE ADULT SUPERVISION…LIKE SCISSORS SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FRIENDS AND FAMILY AROUND WHENEVER YOU DO MAGIC TRICKS!

  1. Hold the quarter by its edges in your right hand with your fingers and thumb. Your hand should be facing palm up and your fingers facing the audience.
  2. With your left hand, reach over and place your thumb under the flat side of the quarter. As your left fingers close over the thumb, release the pressure of your right hand and allow the coin to literally roll over your thumb and fall into the fingers of your right hand.
  3. As it falls into your hand, make sure you continue the movement with your left hand. Slowly let your right hand fall to your side, holding the coin in “finger palm”.
  4. Raise your left hand to eye level, maintaining the misdirection by looking at your left hand.
  5. Now, make a magical gesture with your hand and make the quarter disappear.
