This Easter, put a little extra hop into your holiday by creating your own Bunny Easter Basket!

basket
grey felt
pink felt
white foam
3 cotton balls
fake Easter grass
scissors
glue
black marker
googly eyes

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Cut your grey felt in half with your scissors.
  2. With a marker, draw the shape of a bunny head onto one of the cut halves by drawing a circle with two ears.
  3. Cut your bunny head out.
  4. Draw and cut another circle out of your second half of grey felt. This will be the bunny’s back end.
  5. Draw and cut out two teardrop shapes from your remaining grey felt. These will be your bunny’s paws.
  6. Time to decorate your bunny parts! Attach a cotton ball to the center of the back end shape with some glue. Glue two googly eyes onto your bunny’s face.
  7. Cut a tear-shaped nose and two inner ear shapes out of your pink felt. Attach them to the bunny head in the appropriate spots. Use glue if your felt isn’t already sticky.
  8. Draw and cut out some teeth from your white foam board. Draw lines using your marker to make them look like buck teeth and them glue them onto your bunny face. Let everything dry for about twenty minutes.
  9. Glue your other two cotton balls under the nose to give your bunny puff cheeks.
  10. Take your paws and draw in a few lines with marker to show his fingers.
  11. Once dry, glue your bunny head and paws to the front of your basket, then glue the back end to the back of the basket. Fill the basket with Easter grass and you’ll be ready for your next Easter egg hunt!
