Get ready for some amazing magic that you can perform right at home. Ryan Oakes is going to show you how to teleport objects magically across the table! You won't want to miss this cool trick!

five paper balls

SOMETIMES WE USE MATERIALS THAT REQUIRE ADULT SUPERVISION…LIKE SCISSORS SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FRIENDS AND FAMILY AROUND WHENEVER YOU DO MAGIC TRICKS!!

  1. Tear off four pieces of paper napkin and roll them into small balls. Each one should be about the size of a marble.
  2. Place four of the balls in a square (roughly 10” apart on each side) on the table but hide the fifth between the thumb and forefinger of your left hand. If you hold your hand naturally, no one will notice.
  3. Hold your hands against the table with your palms slightly lifted. Keeping your fingertips together and flat on the table, slide your empty right hand to the front of the table over one of the balls. Then slide the hand holding the extra ball to the front over the other one.
  4. Wiggle your hands a bit. As you do this, release the hidden ball with your left hand and pick up another one with the right, hiding it between your other thumb and forefinger. When you move your hands back, it will look like one ball teleported or jumped to the other!
  5. For the second jump, move the right hand hiding the next ball over the two balls in the front. Move your empty left hand over the ball behind your right hand. Wiggle your hands again as you drop one and hide the other like you did before. Move your hands again and it will look like another ball has joined the group up front!
  6. For the last jump, slide the left hand with a ball in it over your trio in the front and your empty right one over the last ball in the back. Wiggle your hands one last time while hiding one ball and dropping the other. Move your hand and it will look like all four balls have come together! Make sure to slide your other hand back enough to drop the remaining ball into your lap. Then you can show empty hands to your audience and they’ll be none the wiser!
