REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE A SEWING NEEDLE, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.
- Print out the glasses template from the PDF and cut it out. Cut the lenses out of the frames by folding each one over and making a cut with the scissors. Stick your scissors through the cut and cut along the lines of the lenses to remove them.
- Trace your frames template onto yellow construction paper. Be to trace the lenses that you’ve cut out too. Cut the traced patterns out of the paper just like you did for the template.
- Trace the template for the stems (the parts that go over your ears) onto orange construction paper. Cut them out.
- Cut out a piece of blue cellophane and a piece of red cellophane. Each piece should be just big enough to fit over a lens hole in your glasses. Tape the red piece over the inside of your left eye lens and the blue piece over the inside of the right. Trim around the edges of your glasses to get rid of any extra tape that sticks out.
- Time to attach the stems to the frames. Lay each stem down horizontally over the left and right edges of the frames and tape them down. Fold them over and them down on the other side as well. Not you’ll be ready to rock!
