Silver doily
Feather boa

Glue stick

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Take a silver doily and cut out a section of the outer pattern for the front of your crown. Be careful to follow along the designs of the doily as you cut out your piece. You should also cut some of the plain portion of the doily off with it (about an inch or so) as this is where you’ll attach it to your band later.
  2. Use your glue stick to attach your various plastic jewels to the front of your crown however you like. Let everything dry for about 20-30 minutes.
  3. Next, take your plastic container and cut out the bottom and top rim to create a long, round strip. This will become a backing for the front of your crown to hold its shape.
  4. Place the front of your crown over the strip to figure out how long the backing needs to be and cut out the appropriate size.
  5. Use your glue stick again to glue the front of your crown to your plastic backing. Let this dry for 20-30 minutes.
  6. Carefully cut along the pattern of your crown to remove anymore excess plastic that sticks out from your backing. Set it aside.
  7. Time to make the band for your crown. Cut out a 2 inch wide strip of your white fun foam.
  8. Fold your strip in half and then cut it in half. You should have two even pieces now.
  9. On each side of your crown, attach the end of one of the foam pieces using a stapler.
  10. Take your feather boa and staple or glue it along the front of your crown and foam bands, cutting off any excess.
  11. Take two Velcro pieces and attach one to the end of one band on the inside and one to the end of the other band on the outside over the boa. Wrap the crown around your head, fasten with the Velcro, and you’ll look just like a real princess!
