Radish Eyeball

Have some eye opening gross fun with this craft. Step into the Gross Out Lab and learn how to turn a radish into an eyeball, yuck!

1 Radish
Vegetable peeler
1 Green olive with pimento
Ice cube tray

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

1. Take a medium-sized radish and cut off the end.
2. Using the vegetable peeler, peel off most of the skin of the radish. You want to leave thin, little pieces of skin on the radish to look like the veins of your eye ball.
3. Take the peeler and cut a small hole into the front of the radish. The hole needs to be just big enough to fit your olive inside of it.
4. Take a pimento-stuffed olive and stick it inside the hole of your radish. Now your eye ball has an iris and pupil. Be sure to press the olive down flat into the hole with the pimento facing out of it.
5. Place the finished radish into an ice cube tray. Trim the sides with the vegetable peeler if you have to in order to make it fit. You can make more radish eye balls if you want using the steps above to fill the tray. Once you’ve done that, fill the tray with water and place it in the freezer to freeze overnight.
6. Place your frozen eye balls in a glass with some gross liquid and serve your eye ball drink to your grossed-out friends!
