No princess would be caught without her cape on a cool evening. This cape will keep all princesses warm and stylish.

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

1. Find about a yard of decorative fabric for your cape. It can be a little more or less depending on what you need.
2. Find the edge of your fabric and use scissors to make a slit every two inches along it. To make the slits, fold the fabric where you want to cut and then make a small cut. Each slit should be about an inch from the edge.
3. Take some gold rope and weave it through the slits.
4. Take both ends of your rope and pull them tighter to gather all of the fabric at the woven end to create your cape’s neckline. Wrap the cape around your shoulders to figure out how tight the fabric should be gathered around your neck and then knot the ends of the ropes to secure it.
5. Take a white feather boa and measure how much you need to cover the neckline. Cut out the length you need and attach the boa to the neck of the cape using glue or safety pins. If you use safety pins, be sure to catch the cord of the boa with them to keep it attached.
6. Turn the cape around and attach the remainder of the feather boa along the bottom of the cape too. Cut off any excess. Then you’re ready to try on your cape by tying the ends of your rope together!
