REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Unroll and cut a piece of fabric twice the length your arms’ span and fold it over. You can also use fabric or tissue paper.
  2. Staple the edges of your folded sash together every two inches all the way around. Make sure to keep the edges lined up as you staple.
  3. Staple a feather boa around the edges of your sash and cut off any excess. Be sure to get the center cord of your boa when you staple or it won’t stay attached.
  4. Fold the sash over and cut the ends of the sash at a bit of an angle.
  5. Staple the two cut ends together.
  6. Use gold letter stickers or paint to spell out what you want it to say on your sash. Then you’re ready to try it on for your friends!
