The only thing sweeter than music is a musical cupcake! Join host Lisa Bleyaert as she shows you how to make a rock star cupcake for your rockin' Rockstar Party!

Triangular shaped cupcake molds
Cupcake mix
Pink & purple fondant
Chocolate covered peanut butter bars
Yellow & blue detail icing
White icing
A knife
Rolling pin

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE A KNIFE, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Take a ball of pink fondant, smash it flat in your hands, and roll it out with a rolling pin. Move it aside and to the same to a ball of purple fondant.
  2. Use your knife to cut small teardrop or triangle shapes out of your purple fondant. Fix up the edges of the triangle with your fingers if you need to and set it aside for later to be used as a detail.
  3. Next you’re going to need a triangular cupcake mold, which you can find at the baking store. Use the mold and standard cupcake mix to make a triangular cupcake.
  4. Take the cupcake out of the mold and turn it upside down so you can see the triangular shape of the base. Trim off the excess cupcake around the triangle shape with your knife.
  5. Turn the triangular cupcake onto its side and cut a small chunk out of one of the corners to create a notch for a guitar handle later.
  6. Cover your cupcake in white icing. Use your knife to take the frosting and spread it around, covering everything except the bottom. Be sure to ice the notch you’ve just created too.
  7. Take the pink fondant you rolled out earlier and lay it out in front of you. Turn your frosted cupcake upside down and place it in the middle of the fondant.
  8. Take a chocolate peanut butter bar and flip it over so that the pattern on it faces down towards the fondant. Insert it into the notch of the cupcake you created earlier.
  9. Cut out little triangles in the fondant on either side of the cupcake. This will make it easier to fold it up over the cupcake afterwards.
  10. Fold the fondant up to wrap it around the cupcake. Fold it as you would a present, sealing it around the cupcake. If you have a lot of fondant left over, you can cut off some excess at the front.
  11. Take the fondant at the front and push it right against the peanut butter bar, helping stay attached the notch of the cupcake.
  12. Turn the cupcake right-side up. It should start to look like a guitar now, with the patterned side of the peanut butter bar looking like the neck. Stick your purple fondant detail onto the top of the cupcake.
  13. Take your yellow detail icing and apply lines running down the handle of the guitar across the base to look like strings.
  14. Use blue detail icing to create the brackets and knobs for the guitar: Six small dots on either side of the top of the handle and three dots on the body of the guitar on one side.
  15. Repeat these steps to make enough cupcakes for your next Rockstar party!
