REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.
- Print and cut out your invitation templates. There should be three: the guitar neck, guitar body, and guitar detail.
- Trace the guitar body onto your red cardstock, the guitar detail onto your white cardstock, and the guitar neck onto your blue cardstock.
- Once you’ve traced all of the pieces, cut them out of the cardstocks.
- Glue your guitar detail onto the guitar body.
- Flip the guitar over and glue the bottom of the guitar neck to the top of the body so that it sticks out.
- Now that your invitation is put together, use a pen or marker to write all of your party’s information onto the guitar detail, from the party name to the address to the date. Also add a phone number so your invitees know how to RSVP for the party.
- Add any decorations you want to the guitar. For example, if you wanted to draw a music note on it, simply draw an oval with a line and a flag sticking out from the top.
- Add some strings and knobs on the neck of your guitar using your gold and silver paint pens.
- To complete the invitation, fold the guitar neck over the body to make it fit into the envelope. You can even decorate the neck after you fold it with “Rock ‘N’ Roll!” or “Let’s Party!” or anything else you like.
