Batch of pre-made cupcakes
White frosting
Chocolate cake cookies
Chocolate sprinkles
Blue detail icing
Mini marshmallows
Red hard candies
Knife

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Use a knife to spread white frosting onto your pre-made cupcake.
  2. Dip the top of your iced cupcake into your chocolate sprinkles to make it brown. You can use different sprinkles if you want your cupcake to be a different color.
  3. Time to make the ears for your pupcake. Take a chocolate cake cookie and cut it in half.
  4. Cut a second cookie in half. One of these halves will be the puppy’s nose.
  5. Stick your first two cookie halves cut side down onto the top of the cupcake where you want the ears to be. Then stick your nose half down where you want the nose to be.
  6. Take a mini-marshmallow and cut it in half. Stick your marshmallow halves cut sides down next to each other between the ears and nose of the pupcake. These will be the puppy’s eyes.
  7. Place a small dot of blue detail icing into the center of each marshmallow eye for the pupils.
  8. Peel back the wrapper of the cupcake beneath the puppy’s nose slightly. Take a red hard candy and stick it into the cupcake just under the frosting where the nose is. Now your pupcake has a tongue. Fold the peeled wrapper back underneath the tongue.
  9. Repeat steps 1-8 as many times as you need to make enough puppy cupcakes for all of your friends!
