Check out how you can make an inflatable Origami bunny! Watch and learn as Origami host Emily teaches you step by step how to create this totally cool design.

A standard 6 or 8 inch square piece of origami paper

REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Starting with your paper white-side-up on the table, fold it in half from the bottom right corner to the top left corner to make a triangle. Crease sharply.
  2. Unfold the paper and fold it in half from the bottom left corner to the top right. Crease at least three times to makes the edges crisp.
  3. Open the paper back up and turn it over so the colored side faces upward.
  4. Fold the bottom edge to the top edge and crease.
  5. Open the paper again and fold the left edge to the right edge.
  6. Unfold the paper and turn it back over. Press down in the center and collapse the folds. This should make a smaller, layered triangle.
  7. Fold the top flaps of the triangle up to the top point. This will create two even smaller triangles lined up at their bases.
  8. Take the points of your smaller triangles and fold them inward towards the center of their bases to create pockets.
  9. Bring the two flaps that have been created at the top point of your folded paper and fold them along the outer edges, creasing sharply.
  10. Bring the two flaps you just folded down back up and fold each in half against their pockets.
  11. Open up the pockets and tuck the flaps you’ve just made into them.
  12. Turn the paper over and fold the outer edges of your triangle to the center to make flaps.
  13. Take the bottoms of the flaps you’ve just made and fold them outward.
  14. Fold the flaps up to the corners of the triangles you’ve just made. Blow into the opening in the paper and your bunny will inflate!
