REMEMBER THAT IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS WORK UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION. SOMETIMES WE USE THINGS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL, LIKE SCISSORS, SO DON'T EVER ATTEMPT TO MAKE THESE CRAFT PROJECTS ALONE.

  1. Print and cut out your shark templates. You should have three: Your teeth template, your tongue template, and your template for the shark’s head.
  2. With a pencil, trace the head template onto your blue cardstock, your tongue onto the red cardstock, and two sets of teeth onto your white cardstock (for the top and bottom jaws of your shark).
  3. Cut out all of your traced shapes with scissors. Be sure to have your adult helper around for this step.
  4. Glue your red tongue onto the bottom of your blue head using your glue stick. Be sure to get glue around all of the edges of the tongue so that it sticks.
  5. Next, glue on the teeth. Apply your glue stick to all of the teeth and attach one set along the top of the head and the other set along the bottom of the tongue.
  6. Fold the head in half with the tongue and teeth inside. Trim around the edges if you have to in order to clean it up.
  7. Stick googly eyes on top of the folded shark head (the part without the tongue).
  8. Open the shark invitation back up. With your gold or silver paint pen, write the name of your party just underneath the top set of teeth.
  9. Write your address, the day and time of the party, and your phone number for RSVPs on the tongue of your shark.
  10. Add a small line on the top of the tongue with your black marker and you’re finished! Repeat these steps to make as many shark invitations as you need.
