Jessica has been involved in science ever since she was 5 years old, growing up in Chicago. As she sat on her patio on a hot summer day, she wondered: Can I really fry an egg on this sidewalk? The best part about science is using our imaginations and minds, coming up with ideas and then creating ways to test those ideas- and having fun and getting a little dirty along the way! Jessica ended up studying music and theatre in college, but went back to Chicago every summer to work at a Nature Center, teaching at an Earth Science and Nature Explorer's camp. Now, 25 years later and living in Philadelphia, she is thrilled to combine these two passions: hosting on TV and doing some awesome Science experiments with very cool and smart kids.
